About Lewis & Pine Accessories

Some of our pieces are handcrafted from layers of hardwoods that are hand painted, assembled and finished in our Brooklyn studio. We use natural, non-toxic walnut oil to finish most of our wood products to help bring out the natural grain of the wood and protect it. We also creates pieces using a variety of metals including sterling silver, 14K gold fill, and brass. Some of our metal pieces feature hand-applied patinas.

How should I care for my wood jewelry?

To keep your new wood jewelry in great condition, please don’t expose it to water, extreme temperatures, or commercial jewelry cleaning wipes or solutions, which contain harsh solvents that will damage your piece. To clean, simply wipe your jewelry gently with a clean, dry, lint-free cloth.

How should I care for my metal jewelry?

To inhibit tarnishing of metal jewelry, please store your pieces in an airtight container (a sealed plastic bag is fine!) rather than out in the open. Over time, brass develops a natural darker patina. If you wish to make it look brighter, you can polish it gently with a jewelry cleaning cloth, being careful not to polish any areas where a dark patina has already been applied as part of the design, such as on pieces from the patina color block collection. 

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards as well as PayPal.

Is my information secure?

All payments are processed via a secure payment gateway that uses the highest level of encryption. Paypal securely shares your order and delivery details with us, but does not share any of your sensitive payment information.

Do you charge sales tax?

Residents of New York State will be charged sales tax during checkout.

Do you offer wholesale pricing?

Yes. If you would like to request a wholesale account, please contact us at wholesale@lewisandpine.com with your business details.

What is your return / exchange policy?

Customer satisfaction is very important to us. Items in unworn condition in their original packaging can be exchanged within 14 days of delivery. Returns are not accepted. If a product is defective, it will be repaired or replaced at no additional charge. Exchanges are subject to review of the returned product. Exchange shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer, as are lost packages. Please insure your shipment for the price of the item(s) you are sending.

I lost my earring. Can I order a mate?

Half pairs of earrings are half the original retail price of a full pair of earrings plus shipping. Our ability to make a mate is dependent on availability of materials. We do not guarantee that materials will be available, but we will try our best to make a match for you! To request a mate made, contact us at customerservice@lewisandpine.com.

How long will it take for my order to be made?

We make all of our pieces by hand, and most pieces are made to order.  We are usually able to make and ship pieces within one to three business days, but during busy times we may take as long as two weeks. 

If your order is time sensitive, please contact us at customercare@lewisandpine.com to ensure it is made and shipped on time.

How long will it take for my order to be delivered?

Domestic orders with the Standard shipping option are shipped via USPS First-Class Mail and typically arrive within 3-7 business days. Domestic orders with the Express shipping option are shipped via USPS Priority Mail and typically arrive within 2-3 business days.

International orders are shipped via USPS First-Class Mail International Parcel. International orders are usually delivered within 2-5 weeks, depending upon the destination and customs processing.

Please note that Lewis & Pine is not responsible for lost or stolen packages. We suggest that you choose an insured shipping option to protect your purchase.

If you need tracking or rush shipping on an international order, International Express Mail with delivery confirmation usually costs about $30-$40. Please contact us at customercare@lewisandpine.com if you would like to request this option. 

How are shipping costs calculated?

Shipping costs are calculated automatically based upon the number and type of products in your cart. To view shipping costs, add the desired products to your cart and proceed to the checkout page.
