BEACON SALES ASSOCIATE
Lewis & Pine is seeking a part-time shop assistant for our storefront in Beacon, NY. We are a brand that focuses on beautifully designed, handmade jewelry and home goods. The ideal candidate will be an outgoing, friendly and energetic person who loves our brand and style! We offer a competitive hourly rate based on experience plus sales bonuses.
Specific Duties

Greeting customers and making them feel comfortable

Providing excellent customer service

Becoming knowledgeable about our brand and products and sharing this knowledge with customers

Accurately processing sales on our Shopify Point of Sale (POS) system

Maintaining and tracking inventory

Keeping stockroom organized
-
Unpacking new inventory
-
Replenishing items as they sell and keeping the shop and displays clean and fresh
-
Opening and closing the shop independently
-
Assisting with aspects of production of jewelry and apothecary products
Required Qualifications
-
Ability to work on your feet most of the day working with customers
-
Ability to occasionally lift 10-30 pound boxes of inventory
-
Ability to use an iPad-based Point of Sale system

Weekend availability
-
A positive attitude and excellent communication skills are a must

Trustworthy, prompt and reliable

Willing to be flexible and pitch in where needed–this is a small business and we help each other out!
